Why Crowdfunding

Crowdfunding, by it's very nature, is one of the most environmentally conscious ways to grow a business. By allowing you to determine your order ahead of production means that we can produce exactly the right amount of garments with the smallest amount of waste. Secondly, and importantly, part of Cityers ethos is to be a community project, and crowdfunding is a great way of creating a legitimate community without trying to create false sense of belonging through “clever” marketing.

What is reward based crowdfunding?

It's kind of like pre-ordering. When you make a pledge to a campaign like ours you are providing us with an order that we can use to grow the business

What happens after I pledge?

Your pledge is only taken once the campaign meets it's target - once this happens we will get in touch with you to confirm your size requirements (a size guide is provided) and then we will put your garment(s) into production.

Who can support this campaign?

This is one of the brilliant things about kickstarter - anyone can support this campaign! We have a vibrant community of backers and we'd love it if you would become a part of our journey too.

What do I get in return Apart from the overwhelming sense of being a part of something amazing?

Each pledge comes with a reward (unless explicitly stated otherwise).

Do your rewards come with a Warranty?

Yes! Every garment is covered by our two year warranty that covers you in the even of any manufacturing defects. When looked after, each garment in the capsule collection will last a long time, but even if you do have an accident let us know and we'll assess repair on a case by case basis.
